WE ARE CURRENTLY DEVELOPING 3 PUBLIC
Including creating the first ever skate plaza in Patagonia´s Bariloche City. We are helping the Cuban surfing community creating the first truly national surf school & surfing association as well as developing several workshops & events. We are currently helping Nepal Yuma for Change NGO to create a skate plaza down there, helping Uruguay Girls skate association & going back to the slums of Brazil to follow our award winning project Surfing Favela as well as exploring inside China´s rural country. We know firsthand that there is a lot to be done in the youth segment when we talk about bridging the existing social gap in our society so we are always looking for people like you to join us expanding our operations
We are currently developing 3 public skate plazas from where we will keep expanding our social outreach, education & cultural programs through Latin America. We already constructed a one of a kind public skate plaza & amphitheater together where we united for the first time sports & culture/art youth development programs, and we are convinced that those types of new urban development creates the best platform to both interest & develop positive transformation in cities, towns or communities.
We are going back to Rocinha’s Favela in Rio de Janeiro (biggest slum in Brasil/Latam) to help again the local surf school/community & are planning with SystemAD how to integrate cultural + entrepreneurial workshops to take the whole project to a new needed level. Carlos “Mr M” Belo, one of the main characters in the award winning doc “Surfing Favela” created by our NGO founder, has taken the torch on making happen the much needed local surf school & its time to go back to finish what we started…
GUATEMALA, EL SALVADOR & CENTRAL AMERICA
The literacy rate of Guatemalans over the age of 15 is just 75% – apart from Haiti, this is the lowest literacy rate in the Western Hemisphere. Changing Guatemala’s future means investing in the education of its youth.
We are teaming up with Learn.Achieve.Become NGO to include in our former surf & skate free schools new literacy + other educational programs…
We have entities around the world supporting our fundraising efforts and raising awareness. Find out more about who works for us and see how you can get involved.
